ggggggThe Historical Fiction is one of my best works in a Social Studies class. The objective of this assignment was to research an important event in US history, write a historical fiction story based on our topic, and learning how to use Inspiration to organize the information. This piece met standard number five and six of Historical and Social Science Analysis Skills. It required the research and understanding about an event in US, and then write a narrative using factual information. I chose to research Pearl Harbor. I had to collect information about 1941, from fashion to location of military bases. Even though this project took some period of time, I enjoyed doing it. To set up the important elements of this piece, I used Inspiration to help me organize information.
ggggggI wrote the story about a nurse’s life when Japanese was attacking at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. I really did enjoy doing this work, because it written in form of a creative piece. If I could improve this work, I would fix my grammar, because I know my sentences were not strong enough. Over the past year, I learn many new words and transitional words to use in an essay. I think that my creativity writing skill is a lot better than last year, so that would be the most important thing that I will improve, because now I can put new words, better word and add more story into my essay. I would put more historical detail into this piece, such as name, car, building, weapons, hospital equipment…etc.
