Two years ago I came to Mission High, and the first class I had was the American History with Mr. D’Acquisto who was very friendly and understanding that English is my second language. Since then I have learned a lot about historical figures, people’s rights, and cultural universals. Many of my peers would agree that Mr. D’s classes are always interesting and educational. He always uses different approaches like projects, lectures, readings, real world problems, guest speakers to make sure we learn the crucial information and get the skills we never forget.
I will never forget the different political cartoons we looked at which helped me create a political cartoon of my own (Political cartoon on Nike and Globalization on the left). I was very surprised when I was able to communicate a message
