Senior Reflection

I came to Mission High in October of my junior year. I was new to the country and very nervous. But my first day in my new school was relieving. I met my teachers who appeared to be the most supportive people I have ever met; I also met my classmates, and found out that many of them came were immigrants themselves. To my surprise, there were six students who spoke my native language, Russian. My nervousness turned into appreciation and thankfulness to the faith that brought me to San Francisco and Mission High.
In a couple of months I adapted and enriched my high school life with a volunteer job and an internship which my Media Art teacher told me about. I was very excited and grateful to my new school.
During my senior year, I joined Mock Trial, Yearbook Club, Student Government, Chinese Club/Dragonboat Team, and Peer Resources to make a difference at my school. I was very busy yet interested in the new experiences I was getting which made my senior year and unforgettable experience.
