| My growth piece is "My Roots" project which is titled "Jeff-volution". The essay I wrote meets the writing standard 2.1Write fictional or (auto)biographical narratives because it was about me which meets the autobiography standard. I wrote about a few personal experiences that turned into an essay that meets the w2.1 standard. The piece shows some of what I have been through in my 17 years of life so far. "Jeff-volution" shows definite growth between being an infant with many people who care and a lonely junior year in high school. My writing improved drastically since I first started writing essays in 9th grade and this piece shows the growth from my "Legal Eagle Research Project." I chose this piece because
it shows tons about my life. It displays 17 years of nothing but growth
since day 1, in a couple of chapters. In chapter 5, “My Drama-filled
Junior Year”, you will find a very interesting poem that makes
me think about the question, "Thinking will I live, another 17?"
That quote is my favorite line because it allows you to feel my pain
with many thoughts running through your mind of how or why I would
even think that to myself. The poem tells it all. All of the drama
I went through and was forced to overcome, my 3rd year in high school. |
