Hyphy 101

Assignment Name: Photo movie: “Hyphy 101”

Objective: The objective of this photo essay was to learn how to tell a story using still photographs. We worked with selective color and saturation in PhotoShop to make a sequence to tell the story as an animated movie. The final part of the piece was developing a narrative in Flash using transitions.

Standard: 2.3 Develop and refine skill in the manipulation of digital imagery (either still or video).

This is my best work because it describes part of my life and how I act in real life. I am Bay Area from head to toe and I like teaching people about the Bay if they don’t already know the lifestyle out here.
It displays how much I love the Bay. I even taught someone “uneducated” about our lifestyle, how we do what we do in the Bay. Dancing, what music we listen to, clothing, drinks, apparel and movies; it was all in one small photo movie.
