Poem recital showing my speaking and explanatory skills.

The poem I recited, is a poem written by Miguel Angel Espino, a Salvadorean writer. I considered this piece one of my best recitals because I learned the poem at a very young age. I know every word and every sentence. I also understand the meaning of the poem and how the author compares a tree and a bird to a parent and his child. Reciting this poem was very motivating for me because I let go of my fear of speaking in front of an audience. This showed me how much I have grown as a reader and speaker, and made me read more. Reciting this poem was like reading right from the book. Since I already knew the words, All I had to do was just stand up, say it, and feel it. All of these skills show I met the standards 2.0 and 2.5
