[[A little summary of
my life]]: I was born and raised in San Francisco and I have been
living here all of my life. Never have been outside of California,
except maybe Nevada, which doesn't really count. My parents are
both Salvadorean, and never graduated high school, because they
couldn't since they were born in El Salvador. My dad helped my grandmother
out and my mom had the choice to keep on going to school, but didn't
want to. I have a younger brother and he's a good little brother,
I must admit. I thought he was an annoying brother, but then again,
I look at other peoples' little siblings and it makes me realize
that I'm kind of lucky. Ive struggled in school a lot, because I've
made mistakes in the past that many people don't know about, but
I've managed to pull through and I'm about to graduate high school.
I've never really had support from my parents, because they need
to work or they really don't understand what is going on, since
they have no idea what school is like here in the U.S. I have a
boyfriend, Tony, and without him I have no idea where I would be
right now, because he's helped me so much throughout my whole senior
year. Ive learned many things from my experiences and the people
around me. All the experiences that seem to be negative, turn around
to be positive in a weird sort of way and I've learned from them
and because they build up to make me a stronger.
