In order to answer all the questions for this project, I needed to research an assigned reformer, which allowed me to meet standard 5 to complete a research. When I got the name of my reformer, the only thing I knew about her was that she was an abolitionist and women's rights reformer. Then I used Facts on File to research this reformer. I looked for the work she had done for the society and her achievements. After I finish researching, I analyzed the results from the research, and answered the six questions that were required to be finished. By the end, I also used Noodletools to create a bibliography for the source I had used. This project is meaningful to me because I had learned how to do a research on a person through the process. By completing this project, I understood that while doing a research on a person, I needed to know what the person had done, what's the person's purpose, what's the impact the person has left on the society, and so on. On the other hand, this was also my first time to connect the person's impact to the current world when I answered the question: what lasting impact did the person's reforms have on American society? I didn't know that a person's influence could last this long. see my best work of social studies
